Michael Fahres Composer
born 15.4.1951 in Bamberg (Germany) lives in the netherlands since 1973
1973-'75 Studied electronic music at the Institute of Sonology in Utrecht (teachers: G. Koenig, W. Kaegi and O. Laske).
1976-'82 Studied composition at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Peter Schat, Konrad Boehmer, Louis Andriessen) and at the Conservatory in Amsterdam (Ton de Leeuw).
1974-'75 Grant Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD)
1976-'98 Director of the CEM studios (research and development of and lecturing on electronic music)
1983-'87 Festival programming in Karlsruhe with "Music Program Design"
1985-'87 Art advisor for the "Zentrum für Kunst und Medien" Karlsruhe
1987 Preproduction for the "Kunstdisko" for Germany which was presented during the Seoul Olympics
