1976 – 1982 Studied composition at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Peter Schat, Konrad Boehmer, Louis Andriessen) and at the Conservatory in Amsterdam (Ton de Leeuw).

1976 – 1998 Director of the CEM studios (research and development of and lecturing on electronic music)

1983 – 1987 Festival programming in Karlsruhe with Music Program Design

1985 – 1987 Art advisor for the ‘Zentrum für Kunst und Medien’ Karlsruhe

1987 Preproduction for the ‘Kunstdisko’ for Germany which was presented during the Seoul Olympics
