lives in the netherlands since 1973

1973 – 1975 Studied electronic music at the Institute of Sonology in Utrecht (teachers: Gottfried Michael Koenig, Werner Kaegi and Otto Laske).

1976 – 1982 Studied composition at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Peter Schat, Konrad Boehmer, Louis Andriessen) and at the Conservatory in Amsterdam (Ton de Leeuw).

1974 – 1975 Grant Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD)

1976 – 1998 Director of the CEM studios (research and development of and lecturing on electronic music)

1983 – 1987 Festival programming in Karlsruhe with ″Music Program Design″

1985 – 1987 Art advisor for the ″Zentrum für Kunst und Medien″ Karlsruhe

1987 Preproduction for the ″Kunstdisko″ for Germany which was presented during the Seoul Olympics

1999 Festival ″Soundscapes be(for)e 2000″ programming in Amsterdam for the NPS

1985 – 2009 Editor and producer for Dutch national radio and television music broadcasts (NOS, VPRO, NPS)
